How to Use the Descriptive Statistics Dataset Calculator
Comprehensive descriptive statistics engine for analyzing sample and population datasets. Instantly computes central tendency (arithmetic mean, geometric mean, median, mode), dispersion (sample standard deviation, population standard deviation, sample variance, population variance, range, IQR), shape (skewness, kurtosis), and five-number summary quartiles (Q1, Q2, Q3, min, max). Supports comma, whitespace, or newline-delimited inputs with instant copying and summary exporting.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between sample and population standard deviation?
Sample standard deviation uses Bessel's correction dividing by (n - 1) to provide an unbiased estimator of variance from a sample, while population standard deviation divides by N when the complete dataset of interest is present.
How does the calculator handle multiple modes or no mode?
If every value appears with equal frequency, the calculator reports "No unique mode". If multiple values share the highest frequency, all modes are listed.
